How credits work
Credits are the universal unit for AI model usage through Foxl's relay. Each model costs a different amount of credits per message based on token usage and model tier. Smaller models like Haiku cost less; larger models like Opus cost more.
You always see the credit cost before sending. Unused credits roll over within your billing cycle. If you run out, the agent keeps working with your own API keys (BYOK) at zero credit cost.
Bring your own keys (BYOK)
Every plan supports BYOK. Add your Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google API key in Settings and all requests route directly to the provider. No credits consumed, no markup. You pay the provider directly at their published rates. BYOK unlocks all models on every tier, including Opus on Free.
Local models are always free
Foxl detects Ollama automatically. Run Llama, Mistral, Qwen, or any GGUF model locally with zero credits, zero API keys, zero internet. Conversations stay entirely on your machine.

Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from your account page. Your plan stays active until the end of the billing period.
What happens when I run out of credits?
The agent continues working with your own API keys (BYOK) or local models. Nothing stops. You can also top up credits anytime.
Is there a free trial for Pro/Ultra?
Every new account gets 200 welcome credits (never expire). That's enough for ~100 Opus messages or ~400 Sonnet messages to evaluate the full experience.
Do I need a credit card for the free plan?
No. Download, sign up with email, and start using the agent immediately.
